Kokugyo in 55Bu at the 44th All Japan Koi Show

Mr. So, congratulations for winning 55Bu Kokugyo prize at the 44th All Japan Koi Show.

This Showa was picked by Tani Fish Farm in last autumn. Then, hopefully, Mr. So could get Kokugyo prize.
When we harvest this koi, it was only 48cm and bit smaller size compare to our ordinary 2sai. Therefore, we were planning to enter into koi show in 50Bu. However, she also grew while we kept her in concrete pond to prepare for the show and became 50.5cm. I know it will be very difficult for this koi to compete with others in this class because this koi is much smaller than others. This Showa is offspring of “Nazo”. The length is not much but body structure is good. In addition, pure white Shiroji and unique Sumi pattern are may be evaluated as good enough as Kokugyo prize.

At the 44th All Japan Koi Show, we entered 9pcs and fortunately, all of them got prize. One became Mature Male Champion, two became Kokugyo, one became 1st place, three became second place and two became third place. I am satisfied with this result because all of entry got prize as same as last year. Thank you very much and congratulations for owner and distributor.

It is first experience for us to make entry koi finish at our own concrete pond during winter time. We will have polished our keeping skill and get prepared to into koi show more. Thank you very much for your sincere understanding and support.

Kokugyo in 70Bu Male at the 44th All Japan Koi Show.

At the 44th All Japan Koi Show, we could win Kokugyo in 70Bu Male class. Congratulations for Mr. Hartono. This Kohaku also won Kokugyo in 65Bu last year as well.

This koi is based on Kachi Kohaku, Kagura bloodline, as same as Runner Up Champion at Nogyo-sai in 2012. This bloodline grows very well and lots of them can be jumbo koi. Compare to last year, atmosphere is getting matured but I am sure that this koi still have potential development in the future. Mr. Hartono also took Grand Champion at All Japan Koi Show. Congratulations!!

The 44th All Japan Koi Show Mature Male Champion

May I congratulate Mr. Fujimoto on winning Mature Male Champion at the 44th All Japan Koi Show. We are excited to have its prize because It is first time for us to win division champion at this Koi Show.

This Showa is 70cm at 4 years, offspring of Kuro. Although skin of this koi is yellow when we harvested, Mr. Fujimoto highly evaluate this koi. Fortunately, skin become white and sumi obtain luster before koi show, and it could win division champion. This Showa has good pattern, sumi and beni quality but body confirmation is extremely brilliant. We can not find male koi with such a great body. Again, congratulations to Mr. Fujimoto.

<Comment in movie>

The day of the last harvest of 2sai came.
We finished to net all Koi that released to the mud pond, a little less than
2,000m2, you can see back.

These Showa are kids of Tepodon.
The biggest size is 55cm~58cm, and the smallest size is late 40cm~50cm.
We are all done for the harvest of 2sai.
Even though Tosai were washed away in the flood of last year, We think this
year’s 2sai are very good.
We would very much like you to come see these Koi!

Super Mucho Body

<Comment in movie>

Today, I would like to introduce Showa, 65cm, 3sai. Look at this body. What a well-muscled body she has ! The Shiroji hasn’t been white yet but we still can find a high quality Beni and Sumi. When Shiroji becomes white, it will be a wonderful one. Dignified atmosphere, deep-bodied and well-muscled body. . . I hope you can see these great features in the movie. . . .

Harvest of 4,000m2 mud pond

<Comment in movie>

This is our vaunty 4,000m2 mud pond. Things are going well with the mud pond this year but with this long dry spell, water temperature went too high thus the color of the water has been dark green.  Because Showa tend to have weak Sumi in this kind of dark green water, I was worried until I see them. But to my surprise, they had a good color and luster as well as good body confirmation when I picked them out of the pond. We still have another 100pcs of 3sai in the mud pond. I hope next ones will do a good job as well.
