Fisheries Award) by our Showa Sanshoku, 85cm, and overall second prize (The
Fisheries Agency Award) by our Taisho Sanke, 87cm.

You will be able to see her at Auction ground in Niigata on 19th April. This koi is 3sai and 62cm. The pattern on entire body is well balanced. Because Shiroji is purely white, beni and sumi looks beautiful. . . I mean, it is not “looks” beautiful. It is very beautiful.

We started preparation of All Japan Young Koi Show 2012. Due to big effort of Shinkokai Regional Director and Secretary General, we could start snow clearance. We still have snow more than 2m and it won’t be away till koi show unless we take them away. Two bulldozers, 8 trucks and other special machine to take this bunch of snow. We are looking forward to seeing you on April 21st and 22nd. Please come and join this Shinkokai show!

I would like to introduce another high quality koi which will be entered into Niigata Nishikigoi Auction. 2sai, 55cm, Showa. In movie, I mentioned it is 54cm but it was filmed in Jan. It grew 1cm already and now it is 55cm. The feature point of this Showa is body. It has pretty much muscle and borne structure is more stout than others. Therefore, this koi is heavier than other same size koi. It gives me a good prospective of future.
This Showa is 3sai and it’s 61cm. Compare to other 3sai of ours, it is not big but please take a look at this beni and sumi. Well, well, well, this koi has so much things we can see. It is good enough to enter into All Japan Young Koi Show on April 21st, 2012. I assume it will be around 61 or 62cm. It is just a size of 63bu. . . .

March 14th, Niigata Nishikigoi Auction will be held at Yamakoshi. We will enter 3pcs of Tosai, 1pcs of 2sai and 1pcs of 3sai. I would like to introduce its Tosai today. Each koi look different type but they were born from same parent koi. The name of parent is “Tebasa” and it was first time spawning. Therefore, we still don’t know how they turn to be in the future but female parent has superb quality and body confirmation. Male parent is more than 90cm Dainichi Showa. Please come and visit our auction on 14th and see my selected koi with confidence by your eyes.

This weekend, All Japan Koi Showa will be held at Ryutsu Center in Tokyo. We will enter koi which we have confidence. Fed well and shinning well, I believe those are good enough to get good prize but we can find lots of koi which is finished very well at koi show. Well, let’s see how it goes at koi show. . . . We will pick whatever suitable koi among those. Anything good size, good finish and good condition. . . . I can not wait to see koi at show.
